Get some fresh air today at one of San Antonio’s newest public parks located in Southtown. Confluence Park has many walking and biking trails right along the river. You can also find beautiful art structures scattered throughout the park with the most impressive one being The Petal. Fun fact: The Petal is a dual-purpose art installation, serving as a massive rain water collection system for the city. Rain water trickles down from the “petals” to the center of the structure where it then goes into a 130,000-gallon reservoir tank.
